Raymond Dunavant Talks with Family By Short Wave Radio from Japan (1952 News Article)

Long before cell phones, communication between deployed patriots and their families was very limited. However, Raymond Dunavant overcame this obstacle by having his wife send parts for his short wave radio in order to allow soldiers to communicate with home just like it was a regular phone call.
